Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Fish Hunter One. By booking or participating in any of our tours or charter services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Reservations & Payments

  • A reservation is confirmed only after the required deposit has been received.

  • The remaining balance is due before the scheduled departure unless otherwise agreed.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed reservations will always be honored at the agreed rate. 

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before departure are non-refundable.

  • Failure to arrive at the scheduled departure time ("No Show") is considered a cancellation and is non-refundable.

3. Weather & Ocean Conditions

Guest safety is our highest priority.

Tours may be rescheduled, modified, or canceled due to weather, sea conditions, or any circumstance that may compromise the safety of passengers, crew, or the vessel.

If we cancel a tour due to unsafe conditions, guests may choose between:

  • Rescheduling their tour (subject to availability), or

  • Receiving a full refund.

4. Captain's Authority

The captain has full authority regarding navigation, safety procedures, departure decisions, itinerary modifications, and the cancellation of any tour if conditions are considered unsafe.

All guests are required to follow the captain's and crew's instructions at all times.

5. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to:

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before departure.

  • Follow all safety instructions.

  • Wear life jackets whenever requested.

  • Respect other passengers, crew members, and the marine environment.

  • Inform the crew of any medical conditions, allergies, or mobility limitations before departure.

6. Safety

For the safety and comfort of everyone on board, we reserve the right to refuse service or terminate a tour without refund if any guest:

  • Is under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol.

  • Behaves aggressively or disrespectfully.

  • Creates an unsafe environment for passengers or crew.

  • Refuses to follow safety instructions.

7. Fishing Regulations

All fishing activities are conducted in accordance with Costa Rican regulations.

Target species and fishing locations may vary depending on the season, weather, and ocean conditions.

We support responsible and sustainable sport fishing practices.

8. Marine Conservation

We are committed to protecting Costa Rica's incredible marine ecosystem.

Guests are kindly asked to:

  • Avoid touching coral reefs.

  • Never feed marine wildlife.

  • Dispose of all trash properly.

  • Respect wildlife and natural habitats.

9. Personal Belongings

Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.

Fish Hunter One is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items during any tour.

10. Limitation of Liability

Participation in boating, fishing, snorkeling, surfing, swimming, and other ocean activities involves inherent risks.

By participating in our tours, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to participate voluntarily.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, [Your Company Name] shall not be liable for injuries, losses, delays, or damages resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

11. Photography & Media

Photos and videos may occasionally be taken during our tours.

We will only use identifiable images of our guests for promotional purposes with their prior permission.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any updates will be published on this website.
